A Bachelor Inspired Photoshoot

Jan 19

I was introduced to The Bachelor Franchise last year during Hannah B‘s season of the Bachelorette and was very quickly sucked in! So when this season of the Bachelor – with the adorable “Pilot Pete” – started I was quick to return the favor and tell friends about the very entertaining dating show. My friend Allie with Rush Crush had never watched the show so I urged her to watch just the first 30 minutes of the three hour premiere. As the owner of a sorority apparel company I was shocked she had not tapped into the hilarious sayings and memes that have been birthed out of The Bachelor. And so… I threw out some ideas she could use to make Bachelor inspired t-shirts and she RAN with it. We started brainstorming what a Bachelor themed shoot could look like… one thing led to another and we found ourselves at the Camarillo airport! The same airport our current bachelor parks his plane! With this season of the show playing off the pilot theme so much, we thought this was VERY fitting! We had a BLAST.

Allie was indoctrinated to Bachelor Nation VERY quickly and caught on to the humor of the show with ease! During night one on the show a contestant, Savannah Mullins, called Peter a “buttery flakey biscuit” and we just couldn’t stop laughing! Hence, these shirts:

Or how about the amazing puns that were mentioned ALL night during introductions saying I’m “here for the flight reasons” – we know girls.

Allie even made “Big” and “Little” bachelor themed shirts! SO CUTE.

We hope you love these images as much as we loved dreaming up this shoot! Special thank you to Barry for allowing us to use his beautiful plane as a prop for this collab and to all of our amazing models who braved chilly temperatures for these super fun photos!
